the 's' stands for secure basically it means it has extra security protocols and creates a secure connection with the web server you can still be "hacked" but to be honest its very unlikely. The majority of people getting screwed over on the internet by hackers is when your computer is at fault. So make sure you get a good anti virus and only download from trusted sources.

when compared to http HTTPS is more secure bcoz in http when u search for any terms whatever u type it will travel in the internet as same or if anyone uses a packet analyzer or a sniffer he may see wat u r searching and he may get an idea but if u use HTTPS an encrypted channel opens between u and the server of the site(gooogle or any banking sites) wen u type the info and send it if any one sniffs it will be in an encrypted form so its BETTER IF U USE HTTPS

This is somewhat true.
HTTPS uses a Encrypted and Secure socket connection which is hard to decrypt by Network Sniffers and other Network Analyzers.
But
HTTP uses a Secure connection too but it does not encrypt the connection so if you are being sniffed by a Sniffer then your passwords can be easily viewed by the Hacker in plain text.

if you are browsing the web and https pops up you are even more secure since the 's' in https stands for security protocol. so there is nothing to wory about when instead of http https comes up.

Yes like Anoop Sudhakaran, HTTPS uses a Encrypted and Secure socket connection which is hard to decrypt by Network, i found this article, maybe it useful.

It is just channel encryption.
To answer your questions directly, both are hackable. It is just that HTTPS will return a packet of encrypted data while HTTP might return plain text data in maybe XML format? I'm not networking expert, but these are my views on HTTP and HTTPS difference
