I gave my Pansear a fire stone, how long will it take to evolve?
I just learned that when I give my Pansear a fire stone it will evolve. But how long will it take? Or do I have to do a number of battles?

You do not give the Fire Stone to the Pokemon you want to evolve; you use the Fire Stone on the Pokemon and it will evolve instantly. However, after you do this, the Pokemon will no longer learn new moves by leveling up. It can only learn moves through TM's/HM's.

You don't give it the fire stone to hold. You use the fire stone on it and it evolves immediately. You might want to level it up a bit before evolving it though. It won't learn any moves after you evolve it.

Make sure that you get the fire stone and select "Use" on Eevee and not "Give". If it is holding the fire stone, nothing will happen. Eevee can evolve at any level...

it is instantaneous as soon as you give it to him he evolves
