How to delete old myspace account without email or password, help?

I'd like to delete my old myspace account. I don't have access to the email address or password. I sent a message to myspace with a salute and the url and told them the problem and how i'd like it deleted. I really don't want my information on there for years. The salute was a tiny bit dark and but the sign was readable and i probably look a bit older since the account was from when i was like 15. How long will this process take? Has anyone had their account deleted this way? I don't know weather to try again with an even brighter picture or what. I sent it yesterday
