My computer won't start, HELP!!!?
Whenever I turn on my computer it starts running but then for a split second it flashes a blue screen and restarts. When it restarts one of the options is to do a startup repair. I let that run and it couldn't fix the problem. I can't get my laptop fixed by a professional because the warranty is up and I don't have enough money.
I went to the advanced option after that happened and tried to do a system restore but something was stopping it from completing, my guess is a virus. I did a memory diagnostic test but it didn't find anything. I have AntiMalware downloaded on my computer, so is there anyway to access that from Command Prompt? Any other advice. It's a Toshiba computer if that helps.

Ask a friend to burn a Linux Live CD for you, and try to boot from it. If it doesn't work, you may well have hardware problems. If it does work, then you know that it's something about the OS you have installed on your computer, or some kind of malware.

Have you tried a factory restore?
If it isn`t too old you will have a restore partition.
TOSHIBA RESTORE.
This works for my Toshiba model.
1) Hold down the power button for 10 (ten) seconds to switch off your machine.
2) Press and hold the 0 (zero) key and at the same time, tap the power button once to switch on your notebook.
3) When the machine Starts beeping; release the 0 key.
4) When prompted by the warning screen; select Yes to continue with the system recovery.
5) Select Recovery of Factory Default Software; click Next.
6) Select Recover to out-of-box state click Next again.
7) Click Next to Start recovery.
My sister has a Toshiba also and this is restore for her`s.
Switch on and immediately start tapping F8 - choose repair computer - then you get option for factory restore. (not image)

Try getting a friend to also boot from a Windows repair disk. They would have to be experienced. Ask around.
