Do objects look smaller while wearing glasses?

I am nearsighted and I got my glasses a few weeks ago. I don't wear them very often because most things that I read are right in front of me. Anyway's when I am wearing glasses thing's look smaller, not a whole lot smaller but noticeably, especially if what i'm looking at is close. Is it normal for me to see smaller while I have glasses on? Any help would be appreciated. I'll choose the correct answer as soon as I can.

    Yes, as long as it doesn't make things more difficult to see.

    Smaller = OK

    Microscopic = Not OK

    Bigger = OK

    Macroscopic = Not OK

    Clear = Good

    Blurry = Not good
