Car with drivers side on the right side, driving on the right side of road?
So I've wanted a car with the drivers side on the right side for the longest time. Eventually though I realized something.
In North America, our drivers side is on the left side and we drive on the right side of the road. In England the drivers side is on the right, but they drive on the left.
The common thing is we always have the drivers side towards the center of the road. Do you think it would be too awkward to have the drivers side on the right, and drive on the right too? Is this legal in Canada?

You can do it but will find disadvantages around town.
You can't see around bends as early and overtaking is a nightmare as you can't see around the car in front until you are all the way out.

It is legal in some parts of Canada to have the driver on the other side if your car is a certain amount of years old and is imported.
The reason why the driver is supposed to sit towards the middle is so you can judge how far you are away from the car that is passing you in the opposite direction so that you don't hit each other.

No issues in any respect, I stay in the united kingdom yet each and each time on a similar time as on holiday I hire a motor vehicle ( left handpersistent ) and its ok, what would desire to hassle you quite driving in the united kingdom isn't basically because of the fact the motor vehicle is robust handpersistent, it quite is the type you turning to area roads or once you pass to around approximately we watch the site visitors coming from the suited opposite what you're used to in the state, different than which you would be ok, do notpersistent a sparkling fancy motor vehicle in the commencing up wait to get the carry close of it first, goodluck.

Driving a car with the wrong "hand" is a nightmare to be honest.
I have a LHD Dodge Challenger in UK and it is very difficult to drive it here.
I also have my normal RHD car and again, when I have driven it in Continental Europe, it is awful.
I don't recommend it unless it is a special occasion car.
