I really want to get my belly button pierced but...?

the piercing really doesn't hurt that bad and your friend are right. . . the clamps are super uncomfortable but not painful. you will feel them pinching you a bit then you will feel a pop and a little sting and its over. its no big deal. its going to b very sore afterward though. so, but some pain killers if you don't have a high tolerance. its just like an annoying ache...not like an excruciating pain. you MUST follow the piercers direction on care an cleaning exactly as they tell you. that's very important. it will only get infected if you 1. try to change it too soon. 2. have allergies to any medals 3. don't clean it enough or 4. if you play with it too much. so, when you get it done..clean it and don't bother it except when you move it a bit while your cleaning it. your piercer will tell you all that. if your ma says no though than you're outta luck. you cant get one without a guardian til your 17 or 18.

p.s. for those close minded ppl up there^^^^ not everyone gets pierced for attention. i just happen to like body jewelery. i never wear belly shirts or anything..i have it bc i want it. ppl need to stop jumping to conclusions. being pierced does not mean you're some skank looking for attention. i have 10 piercings and 3 tats..bc i like them and i enjoy them...not bc im desperate for attn or want guys to look at me. get a clue and stop being so close minded. i'm sure she is doing this for the same reason. bc she wants it. its her body and her choice. why can you get your ears pierced at 5 but not anything else until your 18? that makes no sense! body piercing and tattooing is a personal choice and form of expression. dont judge people who have them or assume why people want them.

the point of a belly ring is to draw attention to that region and your lower extremities. At 14, no man should be looking at that region. Next, most girls these days just arent fit. They can't keep their stomachs in tone and flat. Therefore about 99% of the time a woman or girl has a belly ring it just highlights their flabby tummy. Next, if you want it done wait until your 18. At 18 you are officially old enough, mature enough, and hopefully smart enough to make your own decisions and deal with the repercussions. Until then, its your parents laws.

not going to lie..i got an infection in mine...

but it cleared up in a week and my bellybutton took FULL recovery.

also....my parents STILL don't know i have it.

if i were you...i would wait until one of my brthdays or something.

i did mine without asking and it didnt hurt me at all!

but of course, everyone's different!

You are a baby, i didnt get mine pierced till i was 18. Your parents have a reason why they dont want you getting it. And they are good parents. Stop trying to follow all the other little sluts in your grade.

youre 14? stick to barbies for now until you are 18 and then do it. kids these days. what is this country coming too
