How far do pro golfers hit their shots?

How far do they hit their different clubs??

I've got my 5 iron at about 170, 6 at 160, 7 at about 145-150 and my 3 wood at aaaboouut ... I dunno, today it was maybe 210, don't really know.

Anyway, yeah, just wondering how far the pros hit theirs in comparison?

Thanks heaps!

All pros are different but the averages are... Driver- 270-310. 3 wood- 240-270 and then on down

Pros can hit it a mile. It's more a matter of how far they want to hit it (i've seen 7 iron go 160 then at another time same player hit a 7 iron 220 just messing around). You should really concentrate on how far you can hit it with accuracy instead of trying to crush it. Pros swing about 60-70% for more control.

But if you were really still interested, I'd say 170-180 yards MINIMUM for a tour player with a 7 iron and

+/- 10 yards with each club up or down.
