How do you appeal a Yahoo community guidelines violation?

On Yahoo answers I have heard that violations can be appealed. How do you do this?

    You can send a letter to the staff (y_answrs_team@yahoo.com), but you had best bring your very best reasons as to why you feel the violation is wrong and not just go "I gave a real answer."

    You will receive an e-mail which gives you an option to appeal. Remember anyone can report an answer/question, but that doesn't mean it's a violation. Users get falsely reported all the time.
