Where should I go camping?
My roommate and I want to go camping sometime over summer, but we don't know where we wanna go. We want to find a legal campground that is REALLY spread out so it feels like we are in the middle of the woods. If anyone knows of any cities or campgrounds to look into within 3 hours of San Diego, California, please let me know.

You don't have to go far. Cuyamaca Rancho state park has what your looking for.

Click on the state you want to camp in and it`ll show all the best primitive campsites.
