    karate,

    it teaches all aspects of fighting including ground and stand up, striking and grappling.

    only people that never studied karate think there is no ground work or people that had bad instructors.

    ground fighting is in many of the kata and grappling techniques are in all kata. every style of karate covers these aspects.

    karate came for toude-jutsu which covers ground fighting extensively

    if you train right you only need one style.

    Technically mixed... by definition.

    I've studied Chung Do Kwan Taekwondo and Shotokan, and currently still study Goju Ryu, Hapkido, Aikido, Taijiquan, Hung Gar, and Judo.
