i target pacific salmon and keep them. I either vacuum pack them or i jar them up so there is food for the winter or whenever I decide to eat any of the fish. They last longer being vacuum packed and jarred up.

I don't necessarily get fish every year, so it is hot or miss depending on if the salmon come back into the river/creek in big numbers. If I get enough fish, I will share some with family and friends that do not get out fishing themselves.

I eat a lot of the fish I catch. And I return a tremendous amount back into the water to catch another day.

Absolutely not - anything that's been in the water that long and comes out smelling that bad can't be good to eat. I'm a catch and release only person, I've never acquired the taste for fish.

Not the bass I target. Only a few meals of lake Erie walleye and yellow perch.
