It's legit, check any source out there and watch some wwe superstars commenting on his retirement in backstage interviews on wwe.com. He had a serious neck injury (Neuropraxia) and recently felt numbness and tingling in his arms, got an MRI, showed the injury, done. It's that serious, so great career Edge, one of my favourites of all time, he was great on the mic and in the ring.

It's not kayfabe. Edge had a neck injury and was risking ending up in a wheelchair or possibly dying every time he wrestled. After he had those tests done, they told him he had to retire. It's extremely sad, he's not coming back.

Those guys are real athletes and the falls are genuine. I was at a match and saw several guys hit the canvas and I don't how they got up. There is no question neck injuries are part of that game and I would say that anyone claiming neck problems is absoloutely truthful.

It's legit. He wasn't given a choice. Either retire or end up in a wheelchair.

no its real and i can honestly say that i and everyone in the wee and the wwe universe is gonna miss him but i would rather have him retire and remember him as the greatest wrestler in sports entertainment then have him continue and end up in a wheel chair he has earned our respect and he has given us everything and we thank him for that he has gave us one hell of a ride

nope he had a serious neck injury in 2003 and now he has another injury that has his spine "shrinking" (i don't know how to explain) and if he ever wrestles he could end up in a wheel chair or worse dead.

    I highly doubt it.

He has been injured alot lately
