What does "this number cannot be activated" because the telephone number is not in our serving area mean?

I am going on a cruise this late December. I heard there are a lot of opportunities for singles to hook-up? I'm talking about any type of connection either long or short term.

I had been getting to know this girl over a few months and we were on the verge of starting to date when she says, "I'm not ready." The semester ended. Next semester she comes up to me in class and says, "I have a boyfriend." We tried to "talk" but it seemed to get nowhere. When I asked why Iwas not told sooner as had been going out with this guy so weeks before telling me she said, "I did not know I was dating." I dropped it and kept it friendly till the semester ended. Then weeks after the semester ended i get a text saying, "lets have lunch." What gives?

I think there are people who have psychic talents but there are a lot of fakes. If I hear anything like what follows I boot them: (1) They say something that is wrong one day and then later they denied they said it (2) Tell you something that is so over the top it could not be correct (3) Tell you something that is wrong and you did not even ask about the matter--"your girlfriend has a child"..Am I being too harsh? I think if you get caught doing any of the above it calls into question all that the person does. Thanks for the input.

Can you set up your Facebook account so that...if a person has an account can you have it that they don't have to be a friend to send you a message through Facebook?

For guys to stay out of the friend zone is the best method to simply talk about what each person wants out of hanging out/socializing before it happens? I would think it is as confusion is one way the friend zone starts.

What does everyone think--more "friend zone" or a change of heart?

I don't think there are right or wrong answers here but I was curious what the gang online thought.

I guess you can send texts out to the wrong number and never really know. Is that true? My friend changed his providers and never told some folks and they never knew he was no longer getting their texts...

Suddenly I got a text saying lets have lunch in two days. Yet she only texts and never calls my home. She is attracted to guys who aren't very nice to her and tended to use me for emotional support. I am worried she wants me back in the friend zone for another round and I want none of it. I think she broke up with the guy she picked over me and that is driving her to contact me. Any expert opinions???

We talked and it was clear she did not want to seriously discuss things so I dropped back. That was almost 7 weeks ago. I feel better and can move on now. 7 weeks and no contact means its kaput..agree?

I arranged to see this girl from my class for a snack before class one day. She comes in late and had no explanation for being late. Then proceeds to take out her homework and do that instead of having a snack with me. She then mentioned she was going out (with someone else) after class for a meal. What is going on here? She was never so rude before and when we met she was very attentive. This time she was inconsiderate and disinterested which was a first. I think this is a sign from her our friendship is winding down. Agree?

I was told by someone that I really like she was now dating someone. She lead me to believe for 2 months that I had a chance and then drops this news on me. I sat there and decided that I can't play the "friend" role and said I had to go and politely excused myself. Do you think I made my point?

I have been involved in a very light and casual friendship with this girl. We met at community college and on occasion had dinner before class or a drink. She is still messed up about a break up from awhile ago. I decided to not put all my eggs in her basket but rather to see it as a friendship and just be nice and social. Does this make sense?

I have become friendly with this girl who is getting over a bust up. She's still dealing with the break up and is going really slow. I am really happy with being friendly and expecting little. I like her as a person and come what may I'm just going with the flow not worrying about if we will hook up or not but just glad I met someone I like. It's important to me to be kind and enjoy the time I have with her not thinking about where it will lead or if someone else will come into the picture for me. Make sense?

We "took a break" from Dec to Feb but when we reconnected at school it hasn't missed a beat. She wanted to have dinner before two classes two weeks in a row and said she'll "be thinking of me" as she planned to snack on our leftovers from one dinner. Can you survive a break?
