Did you lose some respect for Messi after last night?

A lot of people are saying that they don't like him anymore after he blasted the ball towards the fans and got marcello booked.

I still love him though, i think this is all an over reaction, yes it's very unlike messi but, everybody gets frustrated every now and then.

Update:

Messiola: Exactly what i was thinking, also, there should have never been a penalty for Real Madrid :/

Update 2:

Nina: I agree, i mean the fact that they were lasering him before the penalty just makes me so angry, can't blame him for being annoyed.

People just like to overreact... Messi hardly ever complains to the referee or gets into arguments with other players, he just goes on with the game no matter what happens around him unlike most players out there. So the one time when he does something which is not right (a bit over the top) everyone has to lose some respect for him. For ONE thing.

I wonder what those people think of Adebawhore? Barton? I'm guessing they think the Sergio Ramos hitting Xavi in the face for no reason of the other clasico must be a max penalty for them. LOL'D

Messi did nothing wrong. Marcelo should have been booked.

I respect Messi no matter what. Even though what he did was not professional at all! But that's what Classicos bring about! Barca and Madrid are big rivals! Visca Barca :D

  • Marcelo got himself booked for stopping Messi's chip with his hand.

Messi kicked the ball towards the side board but just did it with too much force. He was wrong for that but I'm sure he didn't intentionally kick it to hurt someone...

Ofcourse i did not, so what? He didn't kill anyone and he obviously meant to kick it on the sidebar so it goes back into the field. In the end of the day, Hes still better than Ronaldo.

people are idiots if they think Messi is a god, are you kidding me??

he's just human, he's not perfect even tho his football skills seems like they are

he got mad and kick the ball without even thinking what he was going to do

thats all..........if they want to see a disgraceful and disrespectful player go see Mario Balotelli and Marco Materrazzi those are the players who you shouldnt respect at all

I never really respected Messi to begin with, but after yesterday, I did lose the little respect I had for him.

He didn't try to hit the fans, he was trying to waste time by hitting the ball against the wall, I would have wasted time if I were him.
