Wtf is wrong with me? ?

I just don't even know. I've had depression since seventh grade, and was never given any kind of medicine for it, also I get anxiety attacks.. and more recently I found out I have mono.I haven't been to school for almost two weeks, and when I wake up to go to school I either break down crying or have an anxiety attack. I have no idea why I never feel the need, or want to accomplish anything. I feel like nothing matters, and I'm just messing up my life, but I can help it. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Hi there!

I am sorry to hear that at such a young age, you already are suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, I strongly suggest to confront your parents about this, it’s always good to have a support system, I am sure they will help you. I also strongly suggest that in order to overcome depression, you have to nurture yourself. This includes making time for things you enjoy, asking for help from others, setting limits on what you’re able to do, adopting healthy habits, and scheduling fun activities into your day.

Depression typically involves sleep problems. Whether you’re sleeping too little or too much, your mood suffers. Get on a better sleep schedule by learning healthy sleep habits.

Expose yourself to a little sunlight every day. Lack of sunlight can make depression worse. Make sure you’re getting enough. Take a short walk outdoors, have your coffee outside, enjoy an al fresco meal, people-watch on a park bench, or sit out in the garden.

Another help is every time you feel down try to do the EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) it can surely help. EFT has been proven to be successful at treating a wide range of problems, from physical to mental issues as well as more intangible issues such as harmful beliefs and thoughts.

Go see a doctor or better yet tell someone like a parent or a concerned adult. Dont let the problem persist. Your life does matter and dont let anyone tell u different!

You should go see a doctor and a counselor. What concerns me is the lack of wanting to go to school. What do your parents or guardians say about this? Please call a counselor, social worker, or pastor right away to remedy this.
