I have always had lady dogs, it never happens with the other kind, lol if I saw it happen, I would throw a bucket of water on the patch, otherwise, the only thing I can say is, when it grows back, it is lovely grass! Give the dog a pat from me, I really miss mine!

When I moved into my house the lawn was terrible! barely any grass, mostly weeds very dry. After 8 years of dog poop it's actually a nice lawn now. All you have to do is water it regularly where they pee often. I've never had burnt patches from pee unless it's a really hot summer with little rain and I forget to water it. Usually I put the sprinkler on a few times a week. It used to be all sand but it's nice dirt now from the dog poop.. sounds gross I know but really it's not. I compost all the dog poop with the dry grass and leaves I rake up in the spring. All winter I don't scoop the poop because we get too much snow to even bother. In the spring my yard is full of landmines but after a few nice rains when it's dry I rake it up and all the poop crumbles to nothing. My dogs have actually made my yard nicer.. I didn't do a thing but spread some grass seed a few years ago.. and rake the poop up every spring.
If you can't be there to water it get a timer for a sprinkler.. they aren't too expensive and that way you can get it watered down so the pee doesn't burn the grass. When you do it right dogs can improve your lawn. I have so much more soil now than I did, all from the dogs. Just make sure to water and rake.. that's all it really takes.

Buy a product like K9 Yard Patch- Super Fast Grass Repair that will help repair damaged spots by organically neutralizing pet urine as well as conditions your soil.
Train your dog to only pee at certain places. If you want to keep your pet out of a particular area, a strategically-placed Motion-Activated Sprinkler can help.
Try giving your dog a nutritional supplement like Nutri-Vet Green Grass Chewable Tablets which neutralizes high pH urine if you cannot control where your dog wees.

You can buy something called Green 'Ums which might help, although to be honest, it didn't for mine. This you give to your b itch btw, not on the grass! My best advice is to get out there when she goes to pee, and hose it down IMMEDIATELY. It only gets bad on our patch of grass, during long spells of weather without rain and I've found diluting it with water immediately, helps.
My lawn looked dire after a hard winter with pee, from both my male and my female, sitting on top. I thought I'd have to reseed all of it. But with thickening up and seeding treatment, it's now growing like mad and looking good. I raked off the dead bits, covered with potting soil, seeded it, and covered the seed, and fenced off those areas I treated.
The only long-term answer is to dig up the grass, and pave, unless you have a big area in which case you can rotate the areas she uses.

All we do is as soon as the dog goes for a wee, pour a bucket of water over the area she's just weed on.
Might be a bit of a hassle sometimes, but heh, it's free.

i have heard that that's merely the ladies individuals' wee that burns the grass - with men that's no longer a challenge. Or did you comprehend extra suited?! prepare you canines to 'flow' on command, the position & once you tell her. it may be finished. I had a canines that were experienced with the help of her previous proprietor to 'Be quick' for a wee and 'Be good' for the different one. Or positioned up with the yellow patches - she's nicely worth it, isn't she?

Put a copper penny (1p or 2p) in the dog's water bowl.
