If a girl says "I love you" after the first date...?
okay so this is high school so i know dating shoudn't be taken as seriously. one of my friends who's a freshman just got a new boyfriend after they went on a first date. If she has already said "I love you" do you think this relationship will last? i'll probably get a unanimous answer but i'm just curious to see everyone else's opinion. (and yes, she really did say i love you to him.)

who says "i love you" after the first date? you hardly know the guy! that's ridiculous. this is exactly the reason why the words 'i love you' no longer have such a strong meaning when said.

I'm not really sure if this will last, but saying "i love you" after the first date is a bit fast. She should get to know the person a little better.
Of course, it does depend on how long she has known the person.
