Which one stereo Power Amplifier is best? B&K EX-442 Sonata amp&Parasound HCA-2200 MkII?

    No disrespect intended toward B&K Components (now part of Amplifier Technologies Incorporated) or their products, but I firmly believe, for the equivalent power output, the Parasound power amplifiers provide significantly better overall audio performance. From amongst the two discontinued products you’ve listed, the choice is fairly simple: I would choose the Parasound HCA-2200II over the B&K EX-442 Sonata in a heart-beat. And while we’re talking second-hand amplifiers, I prefer the Parasound HCA-3500 over the HCA-2200II.
