Pretty dope list. I feel a distinct dissatisfaction, but it's not my list so I would think that's natural. I'm gonna have to contend 64 though. Isn't The Music Scene and instrumental btw? As I recall I loved it, in any case.

Yeah people have mentioned a few titles which have made me see why I feel distinctly dissatisfied... Black on Both Sides is the biggest reason probably...

    Black on Both Sides

    The Realness

    Food & Liquor

    Mr Smith

    Reflection Eternal

    Black Star

    E 1999 Eternal

    Amerikkas Most wanted

    Soul on Ice

those are some I would add. But that list is great man Props to you.

    No It Was Written?

    And no 4 5 6?

    or a GFK album?

And no Shad, Del, or Common up on there?

Good list, but some were left out in my personal opinion

Source(s): but you may have gotten some of these, and I just missed it

nice to see Just-Ice in there - Cold Gettin' Dumb is such a track...

can't complain - although I'm surprised you didn't include Grits Art Of Translation album, I know you like that southern ****...

I'm re-adding you to my contacts, I thought the SouthieOG thing was a troll...

edit: I don't get the hate for Rip The Jacker - I think its his best album by far, Stoupe brought out the best in him...

I don't know how you can have "Moment of Truth" on there but not "Step In the Arena" or "Daily Operation". "Moment of Truth" is good, but it's not Gang Starr's best album.

Also, Legendary Classics Vol. 1 is a really great compilation of some of R.A.'s best tracks, but I wouldn't call it "classic" because it's not an album of original material.

How do you have Adventures in counter-Culture in there but you dont have 1988 in there.

I feel like 79-88 you just kinda threw in there.

You have a great list bro, Most of the albums you included could be considered classics

But it might be to early to consider AICC a classic, but it is a great album

Personally I don't think 3 Mr. lif albums are necessary, but it's your list.
