no don't buy those fake antivirus programs. actually they are the problem here.

download the free version of malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org.

install update and run full scan.

after the scan is done, view results and remove all infections. restart.

and hopefully you should be ok.

    if not,

open the run from your start menu and type "sfc /scannow" to fix possible corrupted windows files caused by the malware/virus.

If you think you have a virus, try using Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool. This is a tool that Microsoft has built in to every Windows computer, so it is completely safe to use. Most people don't know about it because Microsoft doesn't promote it for whatever reason. Enter MRT in your search or RUN box and open the program (press ENTER or OK). Start it by clicking NEXT at the bottom of the page. Follow the prompts to remove the virus if there.

You can also download and run Malwarebytes and Superantispyware just to be sure you find all the malware.

I suggest buying the paid version of Malwarebytes. It has real time protection. It will actively protect your computer whenever it is on.

Sounds to me like you have one of the fake malware/Anti-viruses

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/ = a great reference that can be used to lookup what fake infection you have and to clean it off your computer.

I would advice downloading (and removing any Anti-virus you have now) one of the following ( I give a list to give you options of the ones I like, but only use one at a time)

    1) Avast – FREE - ( http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download )

    2) Avira – FREE - ( http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus )

    3) Eset's NOD32 Anti-virus

    --------------------

For Malware/Spyware protection (Its perfectly OK to have an AV from above AND both of these if you want both ..)

    MalwareBytes ( http://www.malwarebytes.org/ )

    And

    Super AntiSpyware ( http://www.superantispyware.com/ )

    Good Luck,

I don't think you should get that. Better install anti-virus software if your system doen't have one. I am using norton. Just update and scan every interval.
