Is it possible to use a cookie sheet on the stove like a griddle or skillet to make pancakes?

Your cookie sheet will likely warp.
Your stove top gets to much higher temperatures than your oven could ever dream of and cookie sheets are typically designed to withstand more moderate temperatures (like 350 or 375). Your stove top surpasses those temperatures even on low.
Invest in a good grill pan or skillet: cast iron for either aren't that expensive and will last you a lifetime.

I don't believe so. The metal of a cookie sheet is aluminum and probably too light of material for the heat you would get directly from a burner. It would probably warp badly. It's best to use either a griddle designed especially for making pancakes and other stove top recipes, or a good old "cast iron" skillet that has been seasoned correctly. Non-stick cookware can also be used if you use it on a medium-low heat. Even a medium temperature setting on a stove top can be too high for the non-stick materials.

i doubt it. Most cookie sheets can only get so hot. your stove top gets a lot hotter then the oven. It would proudly ruin the cookie sheet

yes, just make sure to put some sort of lubrication, either nonstick spray or some vegitable oil to stop them from sticking on the cookie sheet.

Direct heat on a cookie sheet will ruin it............they are not made for that........
