I asked this earlier but... I think I have a blood clot?
Yesterday evening my left shoulder got a pain all of a sudden, while I was watching a movie. There was no damage to my arm.
I kind of dismissed it earlier, but now I'm just realizing around the area where the pain is its partially numb. And occasionally now I'm getting a tingling in my fingers. I'm 19, not very unhealthy but not terribly active either.
Now I'm getting a little concerned. Am I overreacting or does this sound like a blood clot?

It sounds more like a pinched nerve. Usually a blood clot does not develop in a shoulder. I have had blood clots. They are more common in the legs, the heart, the lungs or the brain.
I occasionally pinch the nerve in my right shoulder. I get a feeling of numbness and tingling in the fingers. It usually can last for up to a week. The nerve gets pinched and becomes inflamed. Take a couple of Tylenol and that might help alleviate some of the pain. If needed you can go to the doctor and he can prescribe an anti-inflammatory medication for you.

No. It sounds like a pinched nerve. If you sit and watch tv a lot, you don't get much exercise, I'll bet you're overweight too. Get up and move.

I was going to suggest a pinched nerve, but that sound like it's already the consensus here. I agree.

Even though it is unlikely at your age you should still see a doctor. Better safe then sorry.
