Some explanations about country music?

I listen to country music avidly but i just have a few questions

What is the difference between a country mile and a mile, they seem pretty dang similar?

Why do guys never drive down their girl's driveways, the girl always meets them?

Why chevys, do people not realise chevy had been bought out by GMC, Fords and Rams are nice trucks?

Why do so many of them claim to be hard working farmers, we all realize they're singers not farmers by now?

I like Hank Jr.'s music but what does he know about hard work, getting by, and being country? He was raised by rich parents.

Hank Williams Junior was brought up by his mother, Audrey Williams from the age of 3. Hank and Audrey Williams divorced in 1952, and, as we all know, Hank (senior) died on New Years Day,1953.

Audrey had problems with alcohol and drugs, and Hank junior became estranged from her at the age of 18, which indicates that he would have had to learn to 'get by' (The same way I did from the age of 18, and it was not easy). Hank Junior also developed a drugs and alcohol problem during the 1970s, so the lyrics of his song "Family Tradition" ring true.

Hank Williams Junior has received multiple Country Music awards, including 'entertainer of the year' five times. I think that he would have needed to work hard to achieve those accolades.

country songs are stories. lot of them are not written by the singer. But people tend to relate to the song.

Usually the girl meets the guy, cuz it's a guy singing the song.

Farmers can be sexy, therefore they add to the song. What girl doesn't like a guy in a nice pair of jeans and cowboy boots. (and I don't even care for country music much)

    songs are stories... not autobiographies

and they'll write whatever rhymes... even if its an old way of saying something...

    this isnt rocket science
