why are tv shows so dumb?

I believe we have lost creativity. Many shows are just copies of others (how many CSI's do we really need?).

I was looking around to see how many thought of some of those shows like that. Last night I found myself disliking three shows. I kept changing channels over and over. I thought I had a problem paying attention, but for some reason I can't relate to the mentality of some of those characters. Some of the characters are very nicely presented, but once you're watching the show they just have a different attitude. That's what makes me change channels. I once thought that star trek and other shows equal to these were very educational and more interesting. Maybe I just can't watch these new shows any longer or maybe they just don't make them like they use to.

As the population of the world has dumbed down, so have the shows.

It is really sad, my family and I no longer have cable, and only get local channels because we were spending money to pay for channel upon channel of trash and nonsense.

Thank goodness I still enjoy reading, because tv is horrifying for the most part.
