Can I deny entry into my apartment?
My wife and I are divorcing. She has already moved some of her things, and is planning on moving out later this month. I know I cannot deny her entry to my apartment nor can I deny her getting her things out. Ami legally able to deny someone entry into my apartnment other than her? I just signed a new lease and the lease is only in my name. I wasn't sure since we are still technically married. can she authorize entry without her name on the lease simply because we are still legally being married?

If you two owned a house together, then no. Because this is a rental property and she's no longer on the lease, you get to decide who's allowed in the apartment.

If she has someone accompanying her, then you would be foolish to deny that person access. All it will do is escalate the matter.
Why don't you hire a professional moving company and have them pack up and move her belongings yourself? If she has no property in your apartment, she has no legitimate reason to return. And if your name is the only name on the lease and you have changed the locks, she won't have the legal right to enter.

does not remember if she is on the hire or not. If she actual lives there (her stuff is interior the home) then definite that's prohibited to deny her get admission to into the home. If she will become violent and abusive, you're able to call the police at present and don't lay your hands on her in any way. that's somewhat helpful to check out getting a protecting Order against her if she is actual that violent. Edit to function: you do not could be moved out for 6 months to break up in Texas. you're able to be a resident of the state for 6 months and of the county you're submitting in for a minimum of ninety days.
