    Because there are some corruption soil organic matter, which earthworms rely on this for food, they are digging, loose soil, promote the soil so that the air circulation, or else the soil becomes hard, they have big role.

    Earthworms digest organic matter in the soil. Then they poop. Earthworms in parts of North America are an invasive species and consume the deep leaf litter. Some plants that live in deep leaf litter are going bye-bye.
