    Oh my goodness. Too many questions. We're happy to help you understand some sticky point of chemistry, but not to do your homework, and this looks like a boatload of homework.

    For instance, if you knew nothing of descriptive chemistry, then we would point out that the alkali metals react easily with water, cold or otherwise. Some alkaline earth metals react slowly with water, the warmer the better, and Mg will react only with steam.

    The very active metals like sodium, potassium & calcium liberate hoydrogen gas from cold water, the other product being a mettalic hydroxide. Sodium and pottasim react violently with water while calcium reacts comparatively slowly...
