Why are political contributions by the Koch bros. bad...?
But political contributions by George Soros, Jeff Immelt, and AFL-CIO/SEIU/ACORN are a good thing?

They are all the same as far as i am concerned. No amount of money will sell a bad idea - witness New Coke.

All political contributions are bad. They are just legalized bribes. Koch and Soros are just a couple of the big visible contributors, and the media has latched onto them to demonize the opposition.
Don't you ever wonder why we keep replacing politicians, yet things don't ever change? Don't you realize that the reason politicians do not react to their constituents' wishes is that all their campaign funding comes from lobbyists representing a few wealthy contributors, corporations, and special interests?
Having enough money and a competent campaign manager is much more important to a politicians' re-election than voter support. It is the same for politicians from both parties. Even newly elected politicians coming in with the intention of reforming the system quickly learn to play the game and accept these bribes, or they are defeated in the next election when the lobbyists fund their opponent.
