Can car run on nothing but seafoam?
I was just wondering. Is there any really harmful effects of running a car on nothing but seafoam seeing as it is a petroleum based product? If so, what and if not will it effect the car in any way? Please only solid answers and no speculation (thinking out loud)
I have a 2002 Impala LS 3800 with about 3 gallons in the tank and want to put in a whole can of seafoam.
Thanks
To be clear, ive worked with seafoam before.
Both in my tank the traditional way, through my crankcase before an oil change and running it through vacuum lines with high revs for the complete clean. Just never used it by itself in my fuel tank.

no. We run seafoam all the time for top engine cleans at our two shops. We hook up a drip bottle into one of the vacuum ports. Works great. Of coarse this is only for a short period of time.

Seafoam is just a scam. It's pale oil, (kerosene) with some naphtha, a little alcohol, and some atf. You can make your own by the gallon way cheaper than buying it. In answer to your question, no, you can't run your car on it, it won't burn without gasoline.

Yikes, that sounds risky - I'd pay for the injector service, or get schooled in it - if you trash your engine, that's really expensive "tuition" to find out the hard way.
