Do braces hurt very painfully?

You will feel pressure the first few weeks. After that you get use to them. Whenever I left a check up I always felt a little sore but it only lasted a few days (unless you get a power chain. The pain only lasts a week though). If it's hurting a lot just take a pain reliever. If the dentist wants your jaw to shift then they'll make you wear bands. Those put a little pressure and lasts until your dentist tells you can stop wearing them.

I think they're totally worth it. I got my braces off last week and now my teeth and perfectly straight.

Nope! I have a big fear of dentist so much that I have to take medicine to go get my teeth cleaned! But I also had braces for 3 years and went for every check up with no prob. Because I new there wouldn't be pain and that after I left I would still feel great

No, they don't hurt much. They are tight for a day or two. They are definitely worth the trouble.

a bit of pain for the first few days, nothing too bad. And eventually you wont feel a thing.

Yeah they hurt ALOT! But I guess they were worth it except the glues kind of screws up the color
