How come hot dogs at the grocery store are mostly chicken and pork?

because its cheaper

there are good hot dogs, if you want them made from beef, check for something like Hebrew National... a fairly common brand thats all beef

as for bologna, thats cheap meat to begin with, but there are all-beef bologna, and most kosher/halal bologna is also all beef

Because that's what most people eat.. Actually in my closest grocery store the most are Beef, Pork, and Chicken Those are what people like best!

You have to read the package. They have all Beef all Pork or meat by products

Our good sausages are made at in limited quantities, and as far as I know they only make the one type of hot-dogs. (we call then frankfurters).
