Get rid of dark circles under eyes?

Question

I've been getting about 8 hours of sleep at night and I have very dark circles under my eyes. If i were to get about 10-11 hours sleep every night, roughly how long would it take for them to fade a bit ?
Are there any ways to get rid of them in about 12 hours using items from your kitchen etc.?

within 12 hours? I'm not too sure of anything but I guess only make up would help you.
The following remedy may help you over a period of time.
you could use cucumber slices and wet cotton pads (cold) to place them on your eyes lids, while closed.
Leave this on for 10 to 12 minutes, will help relax the veins in your eyes and rid the darkness. Try this 2-3 times a week, splash your eyes regularly with cool water.

Soaked cotton ball with cold water, and use it to compress your eyes. This trick can only make less darker. There is no way to get rid of it 100%, because this thing is genetically inherited from your parents. I have a friend who sleep only few hours at night everyday, but she never get this dark circles under eyes. Lucky her:)

Put a spoon in the fridge for a bit then hold the back of the spoon to your eye when its cold. Try it im not sure if it works but it gets rid of puffy eyes after you'vve been crying

Why not just get rid of them so you don't waste time/money?
