dish ext. hard drive files are missing but the space is still being used?
i went to watch a movie on my dish network recievers external hard drive- its a 1tb hard drive.. and it says we only have like 400 something gb left.. so the space for all our files is still used but there are only five movies that its showing.. that total 11 gb.. where are my movies and why cant i get to them?

Hi, sometimes with the 1TB EHDs the Dish Network receiver registers it as 2 500gb drives. It sounds like it went over the first 500gb. Back out of the recordings and see if it gives you 2 options of the EHD and try connecting into the first one. If you are still having a problem we may need to do some additional troubleshooting. your document allocation tables are diverse on each and every laptop. one has ntfs and the different has fat partition motives issues whilst changing between laptop shop each and every thing on the laptop that examine all data and then format your ext force to FAT32 this could sparkling up the difficulty.
