Which camera is the best of thse two, the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX9 or the Fuji FinePix F500EXR?
I was initially committed to buying the Fuji as I was convinced nothing could come close to it's specifications, but fools rush in and I just held back long enough to do some research and discovered the Sony, I am now torn between the two, and the Sony is about 20% less expensive than the Fuji.
Your wise opinion may well sway me one way or the other, so what say you?

The FinePix F500EXR has a pretty decent 15x optical zoom, where the Cyber-Shot DSC-WX9 only has 5x
so how does the Cyber-Shot DSC-WX9 even come into the compare picture

another sheer clincher, sensor size 1/2" v/s 1/2.3"
the sony is more compact & has a better LCD display >> those are the only areas i see where the sony comes out on top
but as far as image quality is concerned, the FinePix F500EXR is simply too good for that sony

I use Fuji F500EXR to shoot many pictures and this camera gives many sharp and accurate shots better than my more expensive camera. Good value for money camera. This camera is solid and heavier than many of the same built.
