how soon should I drink recovery formula after a workout?
I'm trying to gain muscle. I usually drink it like IMMEDIATELY after a workouy but is that too soon?

No, what you're doing is perfect. The best time to drink a recovery formula is within 30 minutes after your workout because you want to feed your muscles while they're in their anabolic state, so the sooner the better. :)

Right away, you only have a 15-20 minute window to feed your muscles. Be sure you are getting a good mix of carbs and protein.Carbs are just as important as protein when it comes to feeding your muscles.
