Trade advice please!!!!?

Im thinking of trading martin prado, david ortiz, brett myers, and max scherzer for hanley ramirez and heath bell. Am I giving too much? Ortiz does nothing but ride the pine and I have good starting pitching, plus pitchers seem to be a dime a dozen this year. I could use a another solid closer I only have walden, contreras, and boggs. I can afford to lose prado also I believe his# 's are mediocre anyway. Thanks!

I would not do this trade. While you are getting Bell and Ramirez, both total studs, you are giving up a lot. Prado has batted .300 for his entire career with around 15 homers. Ortiz, while his BA is on the low side, will provide around 30 homers and 100 RBI. These two players will give you more points than Ramirez I believe. In my opinion, closers are overrated. I only have one, heath bell. Max scherzer is undefeated and is a promising up and comer this year. Brett myers will not WOW you, but he can provide you with 10-15 wins and around a 3.50 ERA. These two pitchers will give you more points than just bell. It is your decision but I do not like this trade.

Its a hit or miss trade. If you want to take a risk go ahead. If I was in your position I might actually take this trade but like I said, Hit or Miss.....especially with Ramirez early on.
