Are Track and Chess sports??? What do you think? Is track a sport and is chess a sport?
My friend who plays basketball says track or "running for fun" is not a sport. And when I asked my friends on FB if they thought Chess was a sport, they answered "I LIKE Turtles!!!"

Track is no doubt a sport. It takes training, endurance, strength and skill. Just like basketball does.
However Chess is a hobby because even though it may take skill to be good at chess, it takes no physical strength or training to get good or be good at it which most sports acquire.
Seriously? Track isn't just running it's jumping as well, and it is in the olympics for a reason...
