Can a female parakeet and a zebra finch be in the same cage.?

Is this a possible pairing for 1 cage or will they attack each other? The female budgie parakeet has been lonely because her mate died recently. I wanted to get another bird to keep her company but i wanted to see if there was another type of bird that could get along with her. If this is not possible i will just get another male budgie.

NO! You cannot put parakeet and zebra finch together ! The budgie will attack, hurt and possibly kill the zebra finch!

Please get another budgie, that will work out great ! And that's so nice of you not letting your budgie be lonely. She'll be so thankful.

Female budgies are very feisty and do not pair well with other female birds, or other bird types. So buy another budgie from a pet store because it will be more comfortable having company, and make sure the part above the beak is pink (pink-little male bird), because as I said female budgies together= BAD IDEA! :D I hope I helped! :)
