Is it safe to drink alcohol within 24 to 48 hours after a wisdom teeth extraction?
I am getting my bottom two wisdom teeth taken out in a couple of days, and I would like to know if its generally safe to drink alcohol soon after the extraction

If you are still on medication for your surgery, you should NOT be drinking alcohol. Once you have finished your meds, it should be fine though it may affect your healing a little bit. It seems that the safe advice is to wait around a week.
