Permits/New Home/ problems?
I recently bought a home from a bank. I looked through past permits and there seems to be no permit for a bathroom and the a/c system. I didn't build this stuff but it's there. my city says i need t take a permit out for a new bathroom. Is there something like an existing bathroom permit? Or am i doomed?

The original building permit covers the bathroom. You only need a new one for a remodel or an addition.

You are doomed. You must pay for the permits and allow the inspectors in. Any thing not up to State Codes will have to be removed and redone.

Apply for a permit for the work that was done. They will come out, inspect it and either sign off or have your "fix" anything that's no up to code.
