CuSO4 + 2KI --> CuI + I + K2SO4

tell me which is the oxidizing agent in this reaction?

    Cu goes from oxidation state +2 to +1, so it is the oxidising agent.

    And the equation is not written properly. You never form I on its own.

    2CuSO4 + 4KI → 2CuI + I2 + 2K2SO4
