As my 2ND preferred team (Arsenal) I hope this sincerely does not happen :|

If City beat West Ham and Arsenal lose to United, City will be two points behind with a game in hand. If they win that they'll be on 65 points to Arsenals 64, both with 3 games left.
From then on in it's in City's hands.
Lot of if's there, but not beyond the realm of impossibility. Plus City's game in hand is at home against Tottenham.

Arsenal have capitulated at this stage of the season for the past 3 or 4.
It begs a few questions:
Do they simply not having a 'winning' mentality?
Do the players let pressure get to them?
Do Arsenal's coaches not properly treat the fitness of their players to they deteriorate by March?
I think there might be truth in all of them.

Well, it does not really matter if your favourite team finishes 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Managers like Wenger would want to win silverware first. Qualifying for Europe is a secondary priority.
3rd or 4th would still qualify for the CL, abeit the qualifying stages. Arsenal should progress from there anyway.
So don't worry about it. Wenger wouldn't be bothered.

Lol very possible, but we usually play good when we have nothing to play for. Like at the end of the 07-08 and 08-09 seasons we had brilliant finishes to those seasons
EDIT: we??? oops i thought i was talking about my beloved Schalke for a second, but yeah i do hope a team i respect very much remains in 3rd.
SCHALKE, SCHALKE where ever you may be
Raul will lead us to victory
Raul will score all the goals
He is better than Paul Scholes

mathematically, we can still win the title. ill explain:
Man utd are 9 points ahead of us, chelsea are 3 ahead and there r 4 games left.
if we beat utd and chelsea lose their game, utd will be 6 points ahead of us and chelsea will be equal with us on points but hopefully we'll have the better goal difference.
So if we win our next game and chelsea beat man utd, man utd will be 3 points ahead of us and Chelsea will still be equal on points.
then if we win our next game and man utd lose or draw theirs, we'll be equal with them on points or we'll be 1 behind. if chelsea don't win, we'll be ahead of them.
last game of the season, if man u and arsenal r equal on points and we both win, it goes to goal difference, but hopefully by then we will be ahead on points.
Needs a lot of luck, i know, and arsenal don't get much luck but its possible!
