Are you For or Against introducing a Winter break in the EPL?

Absolutely in favour. However I would make it start after the FA Cup 3rd round and last until the start of February so that the traditional hectic Christmas programme is followed by a period of rest during what is normally the coldest month of the year.
To avoid fixture congestion for the teams which are still in European competition at that time, the League Cup should become a pre-Christmas event so it is out of the way come the business end of the season. The home nations FAs should also help out by getting rid of the November and February friendly matches and replacing them with matches after the end of the season instead.

Against.
It is tough on the players and coaches. The winter break should help them spend more time with their families and loved ones. But, having said that, that's their problem. These guys earn millions from football and should be playing for our entertainment.
Football fans want to enjoy the game week in, week out. It's the people's game. As a professional player, they have the obligation to feed our desire for more football.

Against.Do we really want a winter break in the EPL,only to cram up the fixtures that would've been played in the EPL in the second half fixture calendar? We might as well end the season in mid-April,give a two-month break and reduce the number of pre-season friendlies.
