Can you help with this iPod Problem?

I have a 6th Gen, 80 Gig iPod Classic. When I load songs on it, they play fine at first but after a while they don't. Songs get cut off, they skip or they are just garbled? Why does this happen and what can I do about it?

I have checked the affected songs on my PC. Sometimes the song in my PC has the same issues but, usually it does not. If the song on the PC is corrupted, I delete it, rip it from a CD again and load it back to the iPod. It then plays OK for a while but gets corrupted again.

    I get that! Does the first few seconds of the song play twice and the last few not play at all? It's always the same on my PC though.

    Have you tried re-syncing? And checking the Start Time/Stop Time options on the affected songs?
