Ebay buyer will not pay or respond to emails, I want my fees back but do not want to hurt their feedback?
I listed an item on Ebay and the auction clearly stated that the winner bidder is to pay within 7 days after the end of the auction. It's been two weeks now and the buyer still has not paid or contacted me. I have send two invoices during the two week period.
I want my selling fees back and I want to relist this item. However, I do not want to do anything to harm the buyer's feedback score. I viewed her profile, and she has 100% feedback, over 100 transactions, and most of the people that left her feedback mentioned that she pays quickly and communicates great. She has not left anyone feedback in about 3 weeks, and all her current feedbacks received were from items she purchased weeks ago. From what I am seeing, she is definately not an Ebay deadbeat, so I am worried something happened to her. I would feel horrible if I take action against her and later found out she was hospitalized or something.
So, how can I go about getting my fees back without hurting her feedback? Is canceling the transaction like a mutual agreement? Can she leave me negative feedback if I cancel the transaction? I heard that an unpaid item strike hurts the buyer so I definately do not want to do that.
I thought about just relisting the item and forgetting about the fees and take a loss, but if she is still around, I don't want her to decide to pay after I resell the item to someone else.

Report her flaking and get the fees back through eBay. If you sent the invoices and she has not responded, then her rating should reflect the current information. If you had seen that the last 3 sales before yours were negative, how would you view her? You owe this to the next person she tries to buy from. This is how the system works.

You have to open a dispute to get your final fee refunded. You dont get insertion fees back. You can do this after 4 days, then wait 4 days for seller to respond, then Ebay will refund your fee and you can re-list. You can actually call the buyer on the phone because you have an open transaction if you request the info from Ebay through the Contact member. Since you are the seller you cannot leave negative feedback anyway, only comments.

i'm a broker on Ebay, and ive encountered this challenge many situations. at the start DONOT deliver something till the fee has reached your paypal account and has cleared so supply it some extra days till now even questioning of posting it. in case you probably did state that it became uk placed up in basic terms then this became a time era that the shopper ought to have noted and realised whilst they agreed to purchase the article. you may the two state this lower back soliciting for an option uk handle or in case you want to regulate your postage phrases and expenses and then proceed to place up the article after fee has reached you. In my very own opinion this purchaser sounds somewhat dodgey!!! i could take this merchandise off and relist it lower back, and additionally supply this purchaser VERY undesirable comments warning different of their grimy antics!!!. time will tell and that i wish you type it out. wish my recommendation helps :)
