I find Mythbusters to be REALLY unreliable for certain experiments. The fact that they said that you have to jump up at 20 mph is also pretty bogus. Case in point. If the elevator is going at 20 mph right before it hits the ground, and you jump up at 15, you'd be hitting the ground at 5mph, which you've probably done simply by jumping off a swing at the park. That doesn't mean though that jumping will save you, as the elevator may collapse in on itself from the impact

been proven by mythbusters that unless you can jump up at the same speed of the elevator you will die. so if the elevator is falling at 20 mph you need to jump up at a speed of 20 mph to survive

The other people in the elevator would probably look at you funny wondering why this nutcase is jumping up and down in the elevator.

Just wait for the door to open, go outside and get your exercise.

you are a bit of an language idiot aren't you, if the floor of the elevator was coming at up at you, it would crush you if in fact it came right up to the ceiling. Learn to ask the question properly. Better spelling would help as well, I believe you were refering to SULPHURIC ACID, adoiye!

    "Check the White House."

Bush has been out of office for six years. It's 2014 now, not the 2000s, where have you been?
