javac missing, trying to compile...?

i was trying to compile something and when i wrote the javac on command prompt it told me it isn't recognized as an internal or external... i went to my java/bin folder and realized that there is no javac there either. i reinstalled java as well and it didn't help, anyone know how i can fix this?

Update:

i have jdk and i made a new path java_path and the put the location c:\programfiles\java\bin still won't work...

    You need to download the JDK version

    then config the JAVA_PATH to make it global for every file.
