do most florists allow you to create an arrangement with only a few flowers?
i don't live in the same city as my mom, and for mothers day i'd like to order her an arrangement to be delivered to her. but all the arrangements i see on the local florists websites have a ton of flowers and are way more than i can afford (i'm a student). i know i'd have to call to find out for sure, but do most florists allow you to create custom arrangements with only a few flowers? i just want to send her something simple and pretty

Call the florist directly... Google them in Google Local.
If you bypass the website, you may avoid certain fees.
If you talk to them directly, you can tell them just what you want. Ask them if they are a real and local florist and not just some number taking an order who will then call your order on to a real florist.
This should do the trick....
and yes.... There are many great styles that include only a few flowers, but you CAN make a larger flower arrangement and still stay cheaper by using less expensive flowers (daisies, alstroemeria and asters, etc.)
Have fun!
