World religions change and adapt over time (some more than others) to reflect cultural and spiritual needs of its adherents and to accommodate new populations. Choose at least two of the following world religions and discuss some of the ways these religions changed during this Middle period: Christianity, Buddhism, islam, Hinduism, Confucianism

1. Christianism- Before the Protestant Reformation Christianity condemned the lending of money for profit. After Calvin's influence, money lent so as to make a profit became moral.
2. Islam- During their "golden age" about.750 CE - c.1260CE) Islam gave the world its best philosophers, scientists and engineers. When fundamentalism took hold of the culture it lost its leadership. Today conservative Islamic countries do not produce theoretical physicists.
